Madison Depry Earns 2nd Team All-County In The Sprints

Freshman Madison Depry has earned 2nd Team All-County honors in the 100/200m sprints as voted on by the head track and field coaches in Montgomery County.
Madison had a standout first year on the track. She was the only freshman to make finals at the state championships in both events. She ran the 4th fastest 100m (12.48) by a freshman girl in Maryland this season and her 200m (25.18) time was 5th fastest (according to Athletic.net).
Below are her accomplishments in the 100m and 200m dashes this 2017 track and field season.
100m: Runner-up at the Viking Invitational DCC Champion Runner-up at the County Championships 3A South Region Champion 3rd at the 3A State Championships
200m: 3rd at the Viking Invitational DCC Champion Runner-up at the County Championships 3A South Region Champion 3rd at the 3A State Championships
Madison was also the anchor leg in the School Record breaking and state qualifying 4×100 relay (50.99)
