Boys Junior Varsity Basketball falls to Whitman 57 – 46

The Knights lost a close game to a good Whitman Vikings basketball team. While the final score was 57-46, it was a 3 point game with 2 minutes to play. The Knights had a strong defensive effort led by Wesley Nchinda’s 9 steals. Offensively Wesley was the leading scorer with 12 points. Sophomore Demarco Rush was the only other scorer in double digits with 10 points. While the Knights ended in a losing effort clutch 3 pointers by Sophomore’s Hugo Rodas and Diego Diaz-Cooper kept the game within striking distance.

The Knights next game will be a rematch against the Einstein Titans on Friday, January 12th. The game will be at Wheaton High School with tip-off at 5:30pm.
