Wheaton High School Girls Junior Varsity Soccer falls to Gaithersburg 1-0

The Knights lost to the Trojans after a wet and hard fought battle that could have gone either way. The Knights created a few opportunities to score but were not able to get the ball past the Triojans’ keeper. Surehanded goalkeeper Esmeranda Paul played well in the rain behind a strong defense lead by Marianna Moreau and Thea Nicholson. Going forward, the Knights will need to create more scoring opportunities.
