Wheaton HS Varsity Football beat Gaithersburg 17-0

The defense records their first shutout of the season in dynamic fashion. With multiple goal line stands the Knights recorded their second win of the season. Led by standout LB Emari Davis the Knights defense made plays all night. Sophomore Vincent Nwachi made his 1st interception of the year to end one of many drives the Trojans had in Wheaton territory. On offense Lovell Djieya continued his torrid pace as the county’s leading rusher. Scoring both TD’s in the second quarter. The Knight take on Clarksburg for homecoming this Friday in a double header. The JV is at 3:30 followed by the Varsity at 7pm. Games will be played at Richard Montgomery.
