Wheaton Harriers Compete at Wolverine Run

The Boys Cross Country team ran at the Wolverine Run this past Saturday. Running one of the toughest course in MoCo and the site of the 4A West Region Championships, the Knights ran their best times of the season.

The Knights were led by senior Douglas Flores in the varsity race. Douglas covered the hilly 5k course in 19:08. Junior Will Onofre ran a personal best in 19:28 while fellow juniors Eyoab Asrat (20:34) and Brian Mbogo (21:09) both ran their best times as well.

In the JV Race, freshmen Cody Cerron and Gabriel Melendez led the way with personal bests of 21:45 and 21:49 respectively.
