Wheaton High School Boys Varsity Cross Country finishes 23rd place

Wheaton’s Boy’s Cross Country team competed at the Montgomery County Championships this past Saturday at Gaithersburg HS. The Knights had a strong showing on the fast, flat course with many of the runners finishing with personal or season bests.
Leading the charge was junior Will Onofre who completed the 5k course in a personal best 18:10, over a minute faster than his previous best time. Fellow junior Eyoab Asrat (18:32) had a break out race, crushing his personal best by over two minutes as well.
