Wheaton High School Girls Varsity Cross Country finishes 20th place

Wheaton’s Girl’s Cross Country team competed at the Montgomery County Championships this past Saturday at Gaithersburg HS. The Lady Knights had a strong showing on the fast, flat course with many of the runners finishing with personal or season bests.

Leading the charge was junior Lauryn Bauchman who completed the 5k course in a 22:15, over two minutes faster than her previous best time of the season. Sophomore Tsige Solomon (22:51) had a break out race, crushing her personal best by over two minutes as well.
