Wheaton High School Boys Varsity Basketball falls to Gaithersburg 71-59

The Varsity Boys Basketball team opened up their season on the road against Gaithersburg and lost 71-59. The Knights were down by 6 at halftime, but costly turnovers in the third quarter gave Giathersburg a double digit lead that they kept for the remainder of the game. The Knights were led in scoring by senior Thomas Getahun with 12 points and senior Nahome Tadesse with 11 points. The Knights play Northwood in their home opener Dec 8th at 5:30.
