Boys Junior Varsity Basketball beats Churchill 62 – 61

The Knights pulled out an overtime win 62-61 in a nail biter. The Knights had opportunities to pull out a win against the Churchill Bulldogs including a missed shot at the buzzer in regulation. They ultimately prevailed in overtime and were led by 25 points from Demarco Rush who shot 8 for 10 from the free throw line. Sophomore point guard Wesley Nchinda contributed with 11 points while Diego Diaz-Cooper scored 6 points in his first career start.

The Knights next game is at Einstein High School versus the Einstein Titans. The game is on Friday January 5th and will begin at 5:30pm.
