After the regularly scheduled game was postponed due to an inclement weather announcement by Montgomery County Public Schools, the Knights played their JV boys basketball game against the Walter Johnson Wildcats a day later than expected. The Knights were down at half 21-20 before gaining a lead in the third quarter. They ultimately lost the game but showed good fight against a quality opponent.

The loss drops the Knights to 5-3 overall on the season. They were led in this game by Maxwell Nicholson who recorded another double-double by dominating the paint and finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Aiden Abuki was the only other scorer in double digits with 10 points. Due to the game against the Wildcats being postponed by one day, the Knights will play back to back days. Their opponent for the January 10th game will be Walt Whitman high school.
